Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
Vampiric was officially formed in 2018. It's not my first band, I've played in a few bands over the years. In fact some of the songs I used with Vampiric were actually written while playing in some of those other bands. Most of those songs weren't fully finished and never got released or anything, so I decided to finish them and release them with this project.

How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
Melodic, dark, atmospheric, and very diverse. I like many different styles of music and I try to Frankenstein them into one thing. The music is very melody and riff based. The songs can range from fast, heavy, slow, and melodic. There's a fair amount of gothic organs, choirs, and violins, among other instruments to go with the guitars and what not. As for the bands that influenced me, mainly bands like Tribulation, Moonspell, Bathory, Mayhem, and 90s era Cradle of Filth and Dimmu Borgir. I also have  non-metal influences like The Misfits, The Damned, The Doors, and old horror film soundtracks.

Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
I think my music is diverse enough to appeal to more than one group of people. There's something in it for almost everyone I think. It isn't just purely death metal or black metal, there's much more going on.

What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
I released a three song ep in 2018 titled “Death Tore Through” and released a debut full length album titled “The Magic of the Night” in 2019. So far all of the reviews it's received have been great. I think people were surprised when they heard the album. They got something they didn't expect and I think that made people enjoy it more. A lot of the reviwers stated how the album has a gothic, otherworldly feel which was exactly what I was going for when making it. Some of the songs have also gotten radio play and have been played on a few podcasts.

Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
Not yet. I want to get a live lineup together, it just hasn't happened yet. I do know that a live Vampiric show would be very theatrical to complement the theatrical music.

What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
They should know Vampiric has something for every audience, especially in the metal scene. And, rather cliché, but I truly believe Vampiric is different from the rest. Maybe not drastically different, or maybe not even slightly different, but at least different enough to catch people off guard and make them think for a second.

What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
A second album is the next goal. I have so much material written so a second album will probably happen sooner than later. The next thing would be trying to play live.

Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?
