Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.In the year of 2000, Rio de Janeiro - Brazil, the guitarist / vocalist Night Arrow (Robson Souto) and the bassist Lord Hades (Sergio Vianna), reorganized old compositions with the desire to develop and improve its ideas, borning to Land Of Tears. In the beginning the music was created in a death/doom metal vein. Currently, after many changes in the line up, the band is exploring an aggressive sound much more heavy and fast, worried about the technique and musical performance. The new formation is: Night Arrow (guitar and vocals), Lord Hades (Bass) and Orion Gobath (Drums) . After the release of two CD demos that had a great reception from the part of underground public and specialized media. The Band now is divulging its first EP " World of Pain". Currently the Land of Tears does not use more resources of keyboards and females back vocals however not leaving of side our influences here. Now the band are in studio composing new songs for the next album to be released soon.
How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
Basically Old School Death Metal. We are influenced by many bands like: BoltThrower, GoreFest, Dismember, Hypocrisy.
Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
Because the material is really good and done with by people who are dedicated to the metal
What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
Our releases have been: Total Disgrace [Demo] 2004 - Self released , Canon Episcopi [Demo] 2002 - Self released and World of Pain [EP] 2008 - Free Mind Media.
All were well accepted by the public and media, our last work was a watershed because it can show our strength and heavy sound with feeling.
Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?Yes we played and we are always looking for the participation in good festivals of Extreme Metal
What sould labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
They should first listen to our work and draw their conclusions, we are suspicious to say that our work is good, but they can be confident in investing in the Land of Tears, because our work is done with dedication
What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
We are writing our new album, he is dedicated to the history of humanity, will be released soon.
