Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
Display of Decay was formed originally in 2007, our current line-up is a mix of some of the strongest musicians the scene has to offer, which i feel is strongly noticeable in this new record.

How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
I find our style has a little bit of everything to offer, a raw old school death metal feel, with trace elements of thrash and doom metal embedded in between. Our influences vary between each member, from bands like Asphyx, Cannibal Corpse, Deicide and Bolt Thrower, to classics like Kiss.

Why should a metalheads buy your demos/albums?
Because its death metal thats raw and in your face without all the pretentious bullshit

What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
We've released an EP in 2010 titled "Blood Borne," a self titled full length in 2012, and are currently in the process of releasing a follow up EP scheduled for August 26. We've had great reviews thus far, and have gained a fair bit of notoriety for how much groove there is blended into such heavy music.

Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
We've been performing live since 2009, the stages as well as the fanbase have been gradually growing with the years.

What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
We stick true to ourselves, and to our music. There are so many new trends and styles of metal that are coming out and becoming glamorized, but that isn't us. Its not a popularity contest, its about making quality, original, music that stands for something.

What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
We're already in the process of writing material for a follow up to this current EP, which we'll hopefully hit the studio at the beginning of 2015. As well, looking to set up shows and tour some new areas.

Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?
Any sort of media outlet. Bandcamp, Youtube, Facebook. We also have our full length streaming on our website.
