Review:
Initially released by Japan based Black-listed Productions, this debut album by Alice In Hell was now re-released by German STF Records together with the followup material, their second studio album, The Fall. Creation of the World features 8 tracks for almost half an hour of playing time offering the listener a mostly fast paced Thrash Metal '80's fashion based on energetic drumming and powerful guitar riffs. Although following clear genre patterns and not being original, these guitar riffs are the best feature in Alice In Hell's music, very catchy and energetic, exactly what a Heavy Thrash maniac would love to hear I suppose. The vocals, on the other hand, are horrible, you can't understand a thing because of their raspiness, but also because the vocalist tries to sound as American as possible, or at least that's how it seems. Anyway, my disliking of their vocal part didn't ruin my enjoyment listening to this debut album, it's quite generic Thrash Metal but it has some absolutely delicious parts too, try it out yourselves!
