Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
Buried In A Womb is a one-man-project only formed by me, Glasersfeld. I started in 2015 to write new riffs and heard that this music was not conforming to my other projects. So I decided to form Buried In A Womb as a new project.

How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
The Music is a mix of Melodic Black Metal, Blackened Crust and Death Metal. I´m heavily influenced by Swedish Melodic Black/Death Metal like Dissection or Sacramentum my whole life. But I listen to Crust Core bands as well. It´s like Dissection meets Skitsystem and sniff crystal meth with Cancer.

Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
It´s attractive for underground listeners which don’t care about perfect clean songs and a good professional sound. I don´t sitting in the rehearsal room and think: “Will the listeners like the songs, the sound, the lyrics, the concept or the album cover?” This is not the point for me. It´s just music that is real and represent my inner self.

What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
“Prenatal Suicide” is the first album. The release date is November 19th, 2017. I´m curious about the reactions.

Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
No, Buried In A Womb will never play a show. I´m not interested to perform live.

What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
I think this project has an interesting mix of different genres and the concept of “Prenatal Suicide” is it worth to deal with the lyrics. It´s an interesting mix of brutality and introperspective sentimentalism.

What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
The second album is already written. It will be called “Nihilized Punk”. It´s more Crust Core oriented but also very melodic. I will record it do-it-yourself in my basement in the next months to keep the crusty underground flame alive.

Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?
The best link is the bandcamp-page: buriedinawomb.bandcamp.com
But it will be also available at iTunes, Dezzer or Spotify through the distribution of Sepulchral Silence records.
