Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
Stela Atanasova
: All has started seven years ago. We just wanted to create a symphonic band with pure melodic sound and heavy guitars riffs. It was very difficult in the beginning to find the appropriate musicians for this genre of music. Actually here in Bulgaria this style of music is not so popular. In the past seven years we’ve changed some of the members but I think that such changes are always for good. The band now sounds much more powerful. Current members of the band are:
Stela Atanasova - Operatic Vocals, Electric Viola, Keyboards
Grigor Kostadinov - Guitars
Krastyo Jordanov - Guitars, Backing Vocals, Irish Flute
Angel Kitanov - Keyboards
Nikola "Blackie" Ivanov - Drums

How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
Stela Atanasova
: As I mentioned above our style is considered as symphonic metal with female operatic vocals. We are all fans of certain symphonic/power/gothic metal bands. Maybe for me the biggest influence which I get as musician is from Nightwish’s Music. The rest of the guys like Epica, Therion, Within Temptation, Dimmu Borgir, Lacuna Coil

Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
Nikola Ivanov (Blackie)
: A metalhead should have our album because our songs combine lots of the elements of symphonic metal music and not only. Every our song is so different and unique and gives to your senses all the aspects of Music that you need to hear.

What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
Stela Atanasova
: We’ve release an EP in May 2016 called “Fallen Angel in the Hell”. In this EP we presented four masterly composed songs - Fallen Angel in the Hell, Slaves of the Night, Ship of Shadows and Immortal Metal Wings. The song Crying of the Sun which was released as a single in 2012 was featured in the EP as a bonus track. After that there were a series of interviews for several metal webzines and radios, including Conexion Rock Radio which has thousands of listeners from Latin America.

Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
Nikola Ivanov (Blackie)
: Yes, we play live and love to feel the energy from our fans. In the past months we’ve decided to not play live for a while because for us was the most important thing was to prepare and to record a quality full album. That’s why we’ve stopped all concerts live activity for some months but now we are planning to make a big show in Sofia for the promotion of our full length album.

What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
Stela Atanasova
: I believe that some of the biggest labels know for Metalwings already. We’ve managed to draw attention to over 11 million musical fans on YouTube with our song "Crying of the Sun” without any support from labels and promoters. So I think that they should be interested by our band because people from all over the world like our Music and want to hear us live. We bring the world a piece of forgotten beauty.

What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
Stela Atanasova
: In the end of March 2018 we have plans to release our full length album called “For all beyond”. In this album we’ll present 9 masterly composed songs, including one acoustic song in Bulgarian language. The album will also include the song Fallen Angel in the Hell as a bonus track in a new arrangement; Fallen Angel in the Hell (Instrumental version) and For All Beyond (Instrumental version).  The male vocals parts in the album For All Beyond will be performed by Max Morton. The album will be mixed and mastered by Max Morton at Morton Studio.
