The band was founded as CONQUEROR in the beginning 1998 by me (Henryk Tur) and my friend Marcin Kaczor. All 1998 we have had many rehs and we were testing a few guitarists and drummers. Most of them quit after 1-2 rehs and at beginning 1999 I left alone. Because of some life’s affairs band was "freezed” till 2009 when I’ve decided to reactivate it. Reason was simply – all this time I had in my mind projects of songs and tracks and in fact I was missing for creating of music again. I reactivated it exactly in May 2009 and two months later I’ve recorded "Will You die?” – first song of CONQUERROR. As You see, there is a little different in band’s name. Now I am only member of this project and don’t see any reason to cooperate with anybody.

Well, it has started as black metal project but after reactivation I decided to not follow path already used by hundreds other bands. CONQUERROR has a very specific style I called "virtual metal”. Roots are in black metal but there is many influences of thrash metal, ambient and even rock. Also in texts there is no any religions, warriors, pagans and other blah-blah-blah. Lyrics are about thinking of death, dark feelings and emotions and life as it is.

Bands which influenced me… There is a few: Limbonic Art, Burzum, Summoning and – a little bit different cup of tea – Tiamat. 

If he/she is open-minded and bored of thousand bands plays similar music I think CONQUERROR maybe interesting option. I will guide listener to unexpected areas of music…

At this moment CONQUERROR’s bio is two albums. First – demo "First strike” recorded and published for free IX 2009 and EP "Second strike” published by Satanica Production 17 IX 2010. In fact I have no idea about opinions and in fact – I don’t care about it too much.   

Well, CONQUERROR is one man band so it is hard to play live. I play all instruments used on recorded albums but if I played live I think about someone should played guitar and for myself I reserved position bass/vocal. Now my activity is very, very small but since April 2012 I will be – at least – free from many other duties and start to promote this music. I am really busy man right now and CONQUERROR is more than hobby less than occupation. It will be changed in few months.

As I written in 2nd question – I think it is something fresh and original enough. Demo is for free, everyone may download it, listen and decide it is worth of interest or not.

At this moment I have a few new tracks and planned full-length album "After agony” (did You think it will be called "Third strike”? ;) ). It should be ready at autumn/winter 2012. Plans for next year are to promote band and it’s music, to find bigger label and be creative, all the time creative… As I mentioned I am also interested of live performance.
