Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
The band has been based in winter 2007 in Chernovtsy, Ukraine. Pavel (Kadaamp) the former participant of black metal project «Bastion of Darkness» has eagerly accepted the proposition to become guitar/vocal of the band. After a while the project has received a name – Cryogenic Implosion. The musical trend of the group is based on technical, moderate death metal with juicy and deep growl. Our texts are devoted to subjects of degradation of the modern society, absolute and literal perception of the information submitted by mass – media.
We’re against everything which brings about a character of vapidity, commonality and primitive obedience. Nothing can ruin a personality like a call of impersonal duty, dull obeyance, implicit faith and total pity. We support creation of anti – philosophy of the mankind (as analogous to anti - utopia). A new world, a new religion, new laws of being!
How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
Our style is rather technical and middle – tempo death metal, slightly influenced by old school of death metal. Behemoth, Belphegor, Bloodbath, Dissection, Entombed, Gorguts, Immolation, Necrophagist, Necrophobic, Morbid Angel, Sinister and other made the most prominent affect on us.
Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
We’re not going to snap up our music and prove it to be genius and do not insist on buying our coming album, but if metalhead likes our music, and finds necessary to purchase our CD – it would mean for us it’s support and understanding of our art, adoption of our views on modern extreme metal.
What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
We have our first demo which took successful comments in underground media, and was promoted and distributed by underground labels, the tracks of this demo included in different CD compilations and internet radio. It can be easily checked if you visit our official website.
Do you play life as well? How’s your live activity so far?
Yes, we play concerts several times a year, probably not as often as other groups. We prefer always quality but not quantity!
What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
This September we will record our first full album, so labels and promoters can contact for further conversation if our material is adequate for them. It would be an interesting music with expressive remarkable guitars parties, and most of you would agree this after listening to our music.
What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
First of all it is album record as we’ve already said. And surely a couple concerts in promotion of our album.
Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?
