Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
The band started his activity during the first months of 2016 with the two guitarists Riccardo and Roberto and the drummer Marco, the intent was to merge the sound of Death Metal’s old school with the groove and the violence of the most modern Metalcore. Soon the singer Francesco and the bassist Mirko joined the band. Since January 2019 we started a collaboration with the drummer Antonio Inserillo (Death SS, RHumor Nero, Tossic and many more) with the purpose of finalizing the songs and entering the recording studio as soon as possible to record our first album: "The Birth of Hate". We recorded the album in 2 days of June at “Studi Magnitudo”, adopting the “live recording” approach to give to the tracks a more realistic and strong sound. After the recording, Marco came back as the drummer in the band.
How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
We’re trying to combine different styles of metal, in our song you can find some metalcore break down, fast death metal riffs, and melodic parts as well. We are influenced by Death, In flames, Dark Tranquillity but also by bands like Lamb of God or Slipknot.
Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
It’s always a good thing supporting metal band especially if they came from the underground, and also we are trying to put our best in the music we make.
What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
“The Birth of Hate” is our first album as “Chronicles of Hate” and will be released next February 28th . At the moment we have the videos uploaded on YouTube and we have to say that people truly appreciate them, we hope they will appreciate the album as well.
Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
We did some shows in the past years with good feedback from the public. Our next gig we’ll be the release party of “The Birth of Hate” on February 29th . We’re are planning some shows in the next months, but still to be confirmed.
What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
Because we are trying to be original without forgetting the roots of metal.
What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
We hope to play many shows, in the meanwhile, we never stop to compose new songs.
