Review:
This is an impressive release in terms of physical formats as it's a no less than a Double CD + Blu-Ray release from a band that started out as a Status Quo tribute but ended up composing and playing originals, too, and it's exactly what we're getting here: original tracks mixed with Status Quo classics. Well, even the originals sound like Status Quo to be honest so the whole feels somehow natural and curdled. A 20 years anniversary show recorded live and mastered by Stefan Kaufman (Accept, UDO) so it sounds excellent, but other than the band's friends and Status Quo fans I don't know who'd be interested in getting such a massive work, yet for an anniversary release it makes sense to be different and show off somehow. This is not something we usually cover here, so I'll resume to presenting it as opposed to reviewing it. A collection item for the band's fans that also announces (Julia, an unreleased new track is featured here) a new, fourth, studio album to be out soon.
