Review:
This debut album was initially released by the band in 2019 and then picked up by M & O, but not sure if it was re-released or just picked up for promotion and distribution by the French label, what I have here is a promo version, so I couldn't say for sure. Anyway, the band debuts after 3 years since their foundation with 10 tracks (+ intro and outro), this studio album clocking a bit over 45 minutes of playing time which is quite a lot for a Thrash Death release nowadays I'd say. But the band has nothing to do with the times we're in, they seem dedicated and determined to follow the old-school path, from the compositions themselves to the graphic art that accompanies it it, to the band's logo, it all screams '80's. A very enjoyable mix between Thrash Metal instrumentals and wicked, raw Death Metal like vocals, balancing between the groovy and the dark parts all built and executed on clear old-school patterns absolutely perfect for live performance. They do not try to invent the wheel, but rather have fun sewing together catchy guitar riffs, energetic rhythm section and raging vocals, and the result I'm sure will be appreciated by fans of the genre. If headbanging music is what you're looking for this might be just the perfect find.
