Please tell us a few words about the new release, about the music on it as a whole or a few words on each track in part. How are you happy with the final release?
The music on this record hasn’t got much to do with our previous release [Center Yourself, 2016]. In Center Yourself we regrouped some scattered and isolated songs in an EP, because we had to. But Délok is more of a concept album, about this person who goes through a spiritual journey, kind of through Life and Death, to be reborn as a whole being. So the music reflects these emotions from our daily life; peace, anger, strength, even a bit of happiness.

How would you describe/label the music on it? Does it sounds like anything we might have heard before?
We have come to term with the label Instrumental Metal, because we never really know in advance what influences we are going to put in our songs or records. Like many other artists, we are not at ease with labels, because they are very narrowed, and tend to give an impression to people, before they listen to the music.
It’s quit hard for us to tell what bands do we think of when we listen to our own music, mainly because we don’t take a step back to visualize the bigger picture.

Where was it recorded and how much time did it take you to record it? Any interesting stories from the recording/producing the material?
We recorded it at our friend Nicolas Jubert’s home studio, in the center of France. A rather peaceful place, and atmosphere, so we could record in a professional but cozy surrouding.
The mixing and mastering part was done by Bastien Renon, a sound engineer with a lot of potential, and who’s very productive in the Modern Metal world.
The recording itself was not very long, as we had worked the songs since the band’s creation in 2015. The mixing & mastering part was the longest because we had to find a sound engineer shortly after the recording, and before the Release Party.

What can you tell us about the cover artwork? Is there a link between the artwork and the lyrics? What are the topics of your lyrics?
The cover artwork wasn’t really planned the way it ended. We originally worked with artist and photographer Ambroise Gourdou. But after some discussions and changes of mind, we had our guitarist Thomas work on a picture that still fits what the music is about.
Although we have no singing parts in the songs, we still work to get an atmosphere, that coincides with the name of the song or the album’s name.
And the whole Buddha imagery and ambiance is transposed in both the music and the artwork. The word Délok actually means in Tibetan “Returned from death”, and as some of us embrace the Buddhist tradition and culture, it’s meant to be a modern storytelling.

What do you expect to gain through this release? What are the band's aims at the moment?
This release was set to be our first foot through the door in the musical world. Although it wasn’t our first record, it’s the first one to be physically copied. It was released on the 11th of November 2017, during a Release Party we hosted, and where French bands FRCTRD (modern deathcore) and Disorder (thrash metal) played.
After doing a fair bit of communication around the release, we decided to focus on the upcoming songs and records, as we have been playing these songs for 2 years.  New t-shirts, videos, and other features are our objectives of the day!

Is there a special format the material is released in? Or is it released in multiple formats? How many copies were pressed?
It’s available in digital version, and physical too. We were happy with the result of the record, as it was our first time working with that format.

Where and how will you promote this new release?
We organized a Release Party on November the 11th of 2017, in a venue called The Chaudron, where we also rehearse regularly.

Where can we order it from?
The record can be ordered from our Bandcamp page, but you can also find digital versions on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon Music, Groove, or Google Play.
