Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
Homicide Hagridden born in 1994! From the beginning the band composes his own material and for the first time the line up changed many times! Stefano (drums) founded the band has their own idea of how to move musically, assisted by Massimo (guitar, vocals) who shares all the points! Initially the band's name was Death Slaughter but soon changed to HOMICIDE HAGRIDDEN! The lyrics of the band determined the new name. The subjects of the obscure texts into the facts hidden behind the actions of people such as serial killers or other violent facts of origin, where the mind plays the predominant role! HOMICIDE HAGRIDDEN refers to a newspaper article where a fictional character commits HAGRIDDEN unpunished actions worthy of a disreputable human being so if we can describe! It 'still obscure subject from which to draw stories or possible reality! With this name the band earned a reputation as a footnote in the surrounding areas, and then later in Italy playing live a lot! Are recognized as the best emerging band in the first two years of activity! The two brothers leading the band has always been working hard to promote them and only with the arrival of Davide on bass, the training goes on in the years registarndo demos, promos, two EPs and a full-length album released in 2005 called for the Eclipse rec "Dead Black Sun" two years later! In the coming days, the band will begin to record the new album and planning the tour from September 2011!
How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
The band was heavily influenced by the sacred monsters of metal such as SLAYER, OVERKILL, METALLICA, KREATOR but never closed on these figures! HOMICIDE HAGRIDDEN always play what they create separated from what they hear, a creative path over the years has never stopped. The inspiration for songs comes from feelings, pictures or anything around us, but also readings!
Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
We have always believed that if you suggest interesting stuff, someone will put their trust in you, I am convinced (Max) that the best thing is to rely on this and every note of a song should convey to the listener something important! Others do not care! Today, what is also relevant in the metal, unfortunately, is how do you are looking, not musically, and this is the wrong attitude! I follow enough of the metal scene is when I see live bands play ,sometimes I wonder if they play for love of the music or the want to appear! I do not want these talks with disgust but HOMICIDE HAGRIDDEN are really a genuine band musically, so this might be a good reason to follow it!
What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
As HOMICIDE HAGRIDDEN we recorded a lot of material! Whenever the press, radio, fanzines or anyone who got their hands on one of our song, the band has received favorable ways, sometimes even surprised ourselves! listener is always the best judge of your work! We are not totally satisfied, however, the work done on DEAD BLACK SUN, by the time of release, for a work surface in the management in general!, but they are lessons that teach you many things to avoid in the future!
Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
We really love playing live and we hope to do more them in the future! The stage is the closest place for us and the people who watch us where we can express the most of our potential, where really your soul suffers a mutation and music gains! In all the places where we were lucky enough to perform we have received a maximum audience response is always fantastic, I can safely which is the right size for a band like ours, a dimension that has grown over the years with the volume and a bit of experience!
What sould labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
Well, anyone interested in the band should know that HOMICIDE HAGRIDDEN is a real band, not to imitate anyone, really made up of people who sacrifice themselves to achieve results and determined to work to cultivate the music! If someone asks us a commitment seriously on a professional level would receive 120% not 100%. Do not know if this thing will ever happen, but who wants to work with us must do so only if really motivated and interested!
What plans do you have for the near future as a band
We will enter at Orion recordings studio at the end of April to start with the recording session of the drums for the new album, next we will try to find a serious label! In the meantime we are planning a tour that I do not know how many dates will be composed from September!
