Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
We formed as a band officially in early 2013 after playing a one off show in late 2012. It was founded by Darin (drums) and Phillip (vocals/guitar) originally,  and quickly added Lars on bass. Lars and Darin were veterans of the music scene, and the 3 of them were familiar with a wide variety of musical styles, from Shoegaze to Classial.

How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
We stared as Melodic Black Metal, heavily influenced by Dissection,  Celtic Frost and Dark Funeral. Over the years our sound has evolved to what we call southern gothic black metal.

Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
We try to incorporate the ominous atmosphere traditional in Black Metal with the melodies and hooks that are more infectious and stick with the listener.

What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
We have 3 EPs and 2 LPs that we have released. Each has been better received than the last, culminating with our latest album, The Cold and Formless Deep (Art Gates Records 2019), being released to praise and anticipation.

Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
Yes, we toured quite extensively (pre covid) the last few years, including the United States,  Europe and Scandinavia.

What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
We strive to be unique in the landscape of Black metal. We replace the Freezing Forests and Mountains of Norway with the oppressive swamps and woods of Florida, and I think that we have a niche that is previously untapped.

What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
We have an EP being released March 5th , and are currently writing our next LP. Pandemic willing, we will continue our foray into the European market, where we did quite well in 2019.

Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?
We are on all streaming sites, and you can purchase our merch and music directly at
