Please tell us a few words about the new release, about the music on it as a home or a few words on each track in part. How are you happy with the final release?
On the 6th of January this year, we released our EP named "Styx", which has been a long time coming. It consists of two songs, "The Lament of Heracles" and "The Western Front". The last one is inspired by the novel "All Quiet on the Western Front" by E.M. Remarque.According to Greek mythology, Styx is one of the rivers that carries the souls of the dead to the Underworld. And that is the theme that ties the two songs together. Death.
Heracles kills his family, while a random soldier (or any soldier really) kills on the battlefield.
In both instances, it's not voluntary and there is a great deal of regret. Yet, what differentiates the two songs is the way they approach the subject. "The Lament of Heracles" is about being powerless in the face of death, while "The Western Front" is about the choice to kill or be killed. We couldn't be happier on how the songs turned out and that is thanks to David Prudent's work on the songs.

How would you describe/label the music on it? Does it sounds like anything we might have heard before?
To be honest, we were never really sure what kind of music we play. The best description we ever had was "too heavy for rock, not heavy enough for metal", we know we have some doom elements along with some progressive ones. People also  have a hard time labeling our music, which we take as a compliment.

Where was it recorded and how much time did it take you to record it? Any interesting stories from the recording/producing the material?
The recordings took place during the last days of August 2020. Made in Hell Studio was basically our home for a week with David Prudent acting like a very cool uncle, keeping a great vibe during the whole process. He was our sound engineer and a great guide throughout the home experience. He was determined to bring out the best of ourselves, making our sound unique in the process. At some point he literally spend 5 hours figuring out just the proper bass sound, but that was the magic of it. He really cared about the final product and it wouldn't be the same with anyone else. We are looking forward working with him again soon.

What can you tell us about the cover artwork? Is there a link between the artwork and the lyrics? What are the topics of your lyrics?

https://www.instagram.com/agrimshow/. It depicts Charon taking the souls to Hades, on the left he holds Megara, Heracles’s wife and on his right our nameless soldier, while from his face, flow the waters of Styx.

What do you expect to gain through this release? What are the band's aims at the moment?
We just want to share our music with the world and make people look forward to our full-length album. Considering the state of the world, we aim to start rehearsing again as a band and not as individuals from our caves. Apart from that we plan to make as many live performances as we can and focus on composing our full-length album.

Is there a special format the material is released in? Or is it released in multiple formats? How many copies were pressed?
We only released Styx in digital form and you can listen to it on every major platform.

Where and how will you promote this new release?
For the promotion our own bassist works overtime sending our material to magazines and any other place where it can be heard, such as this one. We would like to thank Pest Webzine for their hospitality.
