Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
Julia: HI! I´m Julia and I´m a vocalist of The passion of our souls. I make all the lyrics for this project. We met with Samuli last year and that´s when we decided that we want to do music together as a couple.
Samuli: Hi! I´m Samuli and I make all the composing for this project. Yeah, we don't have so long history together and with this band..but we don't see that as a problem at all.

How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
Samuli: We use Melodic Death Pop Metal to describe our music. Some people say that there is no Death Metal, but in the end everyone has their own opinions. In our opinion it describes our stuff well.
Julia: Yes the word Pop is also important to notice, if you listen to our music:) Many bands has influenced to us somehow. We listen lot of different genres, so it´s hard to name which has influenced the most.

Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
Samuli: We are independent band at the moment and if someone likes our stuff and wants to support us. It helps us to do more things.
Julia: Yes, if people like to support independent musicians and likes our music it really helps us to do more musical material.

What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
Samuli: So far we have released only teaser and then one full song called "Everything" which can be listened over here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=gj2c0A-iuuQ
Debut EP comes out March 3rd 2015 and will include 4 songs Melodic Death Pop Metal with catchy choruses and heavy riffs. 
We have got some reviews before the release and so far feedback has been good. News about upcoming EP has spread pretty wide over the globe, even we are a new band.
Julia: Yes, Samuli said the main points. We have been quite a lot in media, which is very nice.

Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
Samuli: Unfortunately at the moment we are not playing live. But in the future we're looking forward to.
Julia: Yes, we would like to start live shows after we release a full album. Hopefully this year. Right now we don´t have any other persons in this project, but we are going to find good musicians to play with us on live shows.

What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
Samuli: If they like heavy riffs, melodies, female growls, clean singing or bit something different stuff...they should check it. 
Julia: Yes, I think we have our own style in this project. I haven´t ever heard this type of music before, where is death metal and popstyle in the same songs.

What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
Samuli: To release now this EP called "Soulmates" march 3rd 2015 and then start to make more music and try to take things forward.
Julia: We start to do new songs right away when EP comes out and then release a full album. And we are going to work hard for this project because it is our passion.
