Young quartet from Athens, Nevricon present us here their debut demo (or EP, however you want to call it) made of 4 tracks and clocking 17 minutes of playing time. Mainly they play mid-tempo to fast paced Thrash Metal that somehow remind of old Metallica, but they add a heavy dose of Crossover, Heavy Metal and plenty of grooves, funky grooves if I may, that make their music quite interesting. It's a good debut without too many surprising elements though, but it has its points of interest and prove that Nevricon can followup with something of real impact, the most important for them is to do it soon and start playing live like crazy. The production of this material is good as well, nothing to complain about, so all in all Death Machine is well worth 20 minutes of you time, give it a chance if you're into Crossover Thrash Metal.
