Please tell us a few words about the new release, about the music on it as a whole or a few words on each track in part. How are you happy with the final release?
The new release named « Un Calme entre les Tempêtes » is composed of 3 titles whose 2 instrumental. On this EP, I wish to mark a break with previous albums by picking more daringly in some of my influences, like PostPunk and Coldwave, All track was recorded, mixed in my home and the final mixing and the mastering was released by JackShirley of TheAtomicGardenStudio. I'm really happy of this last release because we worked with Jack for looking for a clearer sound of the last release with more electronic sound and the result is in coherence with the initial intention.

How would you describe/label the music on it? Does it sounds like anything we might have heard before?
I think my music is mainly the result of various influences that mixed together, and with which I worked inconsciously. I try above all to use this medium to try and create a dialogue in the face of my feelings about the world. That may be through the textures of the tracks, their format, the lyrics. There is very broard influences, even though they generally revolve around extreme metal, like atmospheric black metal, post-black, post-hardcore, and as an opposite, some trends of rap and electronic music. I don't know an similar band of mine but I can tell you some band important for me for various genre woh the maybe an source of inspiration  : Yelloweyes, fell voices, weakling, the psyckeproject, this will destroy you, trentmoller …

Where was it recorded and how much time did it take you to record it? Any interesting stories from the recording/producing the material?
For first step, all recording was make in my home at Paris. I have composed and recorded this Ep in 3 weeks. Jack Shirley help me for the final mix and mastering and all was finished in 1 week in his studio at Oakland.I wish to mark a break with previous albums so I have listen lot of albums of lot of style for try to inspire me with news things. Also I watched some website for looking for new materiel and new technics of mixing etc. I think that I learned a lot with this album. With this period of «  containment », it was a little strange to make all alone , for to have some feedback, for make the artwork, photos, but finally it was a new experience and it was very interesting and former.

What can you tell us about the cover artwork? Is there a link between the artwork and the lyrics? What are the topics of your lyrics?
In this album, there is lot of « electronic music » influences and the « coldwave » influences. With the format of song, the sound, with the MIDI drums for example. I've always had a view of this style of music with the dance party, satured light, mirror ball and it's this view that I wanted to represent. There is not specific link between the artwork and the lyric but the word of the night could be one.
BAUME isn’t a concept project in the sense that the lyrics are fueled by what I feel everyday, with no preexisting direction. That being said there are recurring themes, because they matter more to me in everyday life, for instance time passing by, relation to memories, studying of love behaviors, relation to the body, to name only the main ones.

What do you expect to gain through this release? What are the band's aims at the moment?
Because this album is very different,I hope  that with him, I can allow me to touch a new listeners. I hope for the future make a new collaboration with different styles of music.

Is there a special format the material is released in? Or is it released in multiple formats? How many copies were pressed?
For the moment , the physical release is don't produced but I'm sure that there is a tape release with MalleusRecords because we like to work together.

Where and how will you promote this new release?
I started the web promotion with first track in listen on my bandcamp and with the webzine Cvltnation . I have some partnership with webradio and youtube channel to.
I hope with the end of « containement » I could to make an release party in Paris

Now, we can order it in the bandcamp of the band. In the future, there will be some partnership with some label.
