Please tell us a few words about the new release, about the music on it as a whole or a few words on each track in part. How are you happy with the final release?

Yeah! We're really pleased with the final version of our full album "Silence". It took a lot of time and hard work to obtain such sound that completely satisfied all of us. We hope that the listeners will enjoy it as well as we do.
About the cohesion on the album...darkness and gloomy climate are the links which connect the whole idea but every song tells a quite different story, in both -music and lyrics- spheres.

How would you describe/label the music on it? Does it sounds like anything we might have heard before?
Hmm... In my opinion the music we play is a blend of doom-dark-melodic-death metal. We believe that everyone will found something interesting for him on it. Some reviewers even found black -metal influences in our stuff...Well I'm really glad about it because it's my favorite genre. But as a Spatial member, I shouldn't compare our own material to others and I don't like to do it. Everyone has right to its own responses. You have to check it on your own!

Where was it recorded and how much time did it take you to record it? Any interesting stories from the recording/producing the material?
The "Silence" album was recorded in "No Fear Records" Studio In Rybnik in Poland. The whole recording session and mixes lasted from November 2012 till April 2013, so it took a while. Interesting stories? Hmmm a can remind only one when the guitarists had to stand totally still during the recording cause every tiny move caused strange unnecessary noises. Such a perversity of inanimate objects or maybe the weather ;) The rest was going quickly and professionally.

What can you tell us about the cover artwork? Is there a link between the artwork and the lyrics? What are the topics of your lyrics?
The cover artwork is a hand-made painting created by an artist Karolina Gmiterek. It refers to the title song "Silence" to which we also shot a video. What are the topics of our lyrics? Hate, suffering, revenge, death (or just silence)... It's a matter of interpretation actually...

What do you expect to gain through this release? What are the band's aims at the moment?
The expectations are quite simple: we would like to reach with our stuff to as many maniacs as possible all around the world which is already happening thanks to our label Metal Scrap Record (UA).At the moment we're going to play as many live shows as possible cause that is what we like do the most. So far we played about 13 gigs this year, among others on our open air "Niech Cisza Milczy" which our band organizes every year.

Is there a special format the material is released in? Or is it released in multiple formats? How many copies were pressed?
Our debut album was pressed in 500 copies but we had to order some additional ones because it sells very well, especially on our concerts. Our CD was released in Ukraine on 12 April 2014 and it had premiere in Russia (3 May 2014), Europe(16 June 2014)and USA (12 Agust 2014). Digital release on 12 Agust 2014.

Where and how will you promote this new release?
The promotion goes mainly through our label; we get dozen or more positive reviews. We appear in many zines, magazines and web portals. We're really pleased with the work of Metal Srap in this matter. Respect!
