Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
Majesty Of Revival was formed by me in the middle of 2009. The main influences was Symphony X, Time Requiem, Rhapsody, Kenziner etc. From 2009 to 2010 we have many changes in the band line-up. At the end of 2010, drummer Vasilij Irzhak joined band, & at the beginning of 2011 keyboard player Grotesk, vocalist Oleksa Dinnik and bass player Trajan Mustyace join the band too. With this line-up in June 2011, band was released a promotional EP "Meaning Of Life". We have many positive feedbacks & take a part in few compilations. In October 2011 we started record debut album. Before the record session Oleksa Dynnyk left the band. Later Grotesk also left MOR. Then Konstantin Naumenko & Marat Adiev joined the MOR. On March 2012 debut album "Through Reality" is completely done. We immediately deal with the Metal Scrap Records, started negotiations with them at the beginning of the recording. As a result the album released on May, 30 by Total Metal Records, a division of Metal Scrap Records. Now we have started to record the second album.
How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
I think it's Neoclassical Power Metal with progressive elements. Symphony X, Rhapsody, Time Requiem, Rainbow, Yngwie Malmsteen influenced in vision of our music.
Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
Maybe because we're the one of a few bands in Ukraine, which playes a high-quality metal. Because we do everything from the bottom of our hearts. Listening to our music, you can immerse yourself in the wonderful world: here you can find the freedom, ease, light and dark, somewhere to think about the meaning of life, maybe sad - but all the same : "be still alive and more stronger"!
What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media? In 2011 we released our first official EP "Meaning Of Life". After that we recorded first album "Through Reality" released by "MetalScrap Records". Labels received our releases to many web-zines, magazines, radio-station and e.t.c.
Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
Yep, we playing live-shows once or twice a month at the festivals.
After release the second album, we plan a short tour (or possibly big ;)
What sould labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
Hm...what should they know? I reckon our music can say more then any words, histories and facts of us. and know about why they should be interested - as i already said, we're that band, which plays a high-quality metal and also we try to bring in something new, something just our. so, it's can't be not interesting
What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
We record second album and after that we planned doing a tour within Europe and record live-album. We can also come to Romania if you`ll invite us ;)
