Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
Hi guys from Pest Webzine. It is a honor for me to represent Warshipper in this interview. First of all, thanks for the opportunity.
Warshipper started its activities in 2011, while I was still joining another band named Bywar, and I recruited Rafael, Roger and Rodolfo (ex-Zoltar). Since we´ve started we have released 2 albums, Worshippers of Doom and Black Sun, and  a single called Atheist. We´ll release our third album still this year and It will be named “Barren..”, our first concept album, bringing the idea of a social sterility. In 2019 we have accomplished our first european tour, playing in German, Austria, Belgium, France, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Netherlands.

How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
We define ourselves as a Death Metal band, however We have a lot of different influences in our songs, as well. We pretty much vary from a more extreme fashioned riffs until a more prog and/or atmospheric musicality too. I believe that the mix between Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd, Monstrosity, Hypocrisy, Rotting Christ, Bathory, Nevermore and Testament could kind of define a little bit our influences.

Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
Because it is no only music!! We provide everything in a kind of “inside-out” style, including too much feeling mixed with brutality and psychodelism, which I believe that gives a special touch in our songs.

What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
Our first album was released in the end of 2014 and It is called WORSHIPPERS of DOOM. It is a very dynamic album, containing some of my favorite songs, like Absence of Colors (The Obsolete).
In 2018 we have released our second work titled BLACK SUN, which brings a more philosophical atmosphere, besides It also contains lots of extreme and powerful riffs as well. The homonymous track is one of the best songs we have ever composed and also has a beautiful lyric video.
ATHEIST is our last release and It is a single. It was released in 2019 and pretty much defines a bit of what can be expected from our new release. Melody, Harmony, rythm variation and brutal riffs.

Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
We have a very regular agenda, playing all around Brazil and, as I have mentioned before, we also performed a european tour last year. We are already talking about a next tour to promote our third album which is about to be released.

What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
Because I believe that we do have a lot of amazing bands in the extreme scene, however, we also bring a strong originality within our composing, and we have been recognized for such characteristic. Besides that, we have a very strong attitude on the stage, while performing our songs. Something like: “Blood in the eyes”

What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
First of all to accomplish the release of “Barren...” and then start its tour all around the planet, If possible.

Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?
