Sol Invictvs and Solipsis knew each other first and met Korism in 2007. New rhythm guitarist Thanatos Apoptotic came along in April of this year (2010). 

Black/death/doom which is technical and at times simplistic. I would describe us as being dedicated to expressing ourselves in a complete way. We are blistering, fast, grand, and yet, at times, vulnerable and awkward. Mercurial, sweaty, honest. Interesting mix of melody and dissonance with more classically influenced songwriting structure which mixes vicious chords, technical runs, and clean drones.

Bands that have influenced us are Deathspell Omega, Emperor, Immolation, Nehemah, S.V.E.S.T., Primordial, Nile, Arkhon Infaustus, 1349, Esoteric, and classical works of Stravinsky, Beethoven, and Anton Webern.

They should buy it if they want to help support us and our band.  They should buy it if they want to hear songs of composed bombast and mayhem that will take you through a rare journey of diverse soundscapes. Our songs have varied from 2 and a half minutes and 18. With physical copies you would receive the lyrics which are quite extensive and artwork by Korism who has done art for other bands as well.

The band  has put out a demo(2008), a full length "Surrogate Panoptic Quantal Regality" (2009) and live album "Cold Sweat on the face of God- Live in the West" (2009) and we are working on a new EP for which today in fact, we have started tracking drums. We were received as being awesome, confusing, and not typical.

We have toured the west coast of the U.S. and have performed nearly 50 live cermonies.

They should know that we will continue to be Nihlotep, that we want our voices to be heard and that we want to hear the voices of people who have actual things to say. We want Nihlotepultand it's music to entwine with the great works of other true artists and change people's conciousness. Ey be interested in it?
