Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
The TIRAN's history has begun autumn of 2005 when the part of musicians from heavy metal band Black Hearts has separated as they did not accept that band practically stayed idle and did not aspire to underground activity. For four years line up constantly was exposed to changes, musicians came and left. Tiran (g/v) remained the only thing who from first days costs under bands flag. Nevertheless, all this time band play gigs in Russia and released their first EP "Prokliatie" (Siberia prod.) and debut long play album "Demonia" (Wings Of Destruction / Dead Center). Currently line up comes as: Tiran - g/v, Chuvak (ex-Leta) - b and Kozlou (ex-Black Hearts too) - d. With such line up band to prepare for record of the new album which should be released on WoD/DCP again this autumn then band goes to the first big round across Russia Thrashing Road Tour.

How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
Probably, our music was affected by many bands... Yes practically all which we listen! In overwhelming majority it old school heavy, thrash and death metal bands. But besides, I still like some black metal bands, and our drummer roughly breathes to classical hard rock. Somehow to define the style - uneasy enough problem. Someone said that we play thrash or thrash/death metal, someone that heavy... One it is possible to tell for certain, we play METAL, instead of any fashionable snotty shit!

Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
Let's begin with that metalheads should to buy CD, tapes and vinyls anyway, instead of downloaded all releases from internet. Speaking particularly about TIRAN's releases, I think it's must be interesting, cos if you see on our releases critics in many fanzines and web resources you can find the extremely opposite opinions. Besides, whether so it is a lot of nowdays bands from Russia you know? hehe

What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
Now, we has our debut EP "Prokliatie", released on Siberia production in 2006, our first longplay "Demonia", released in 2008 on Wings Of Destruction / Dead Center production. Also we have our "complete promo" which includes all written down material and a videoclip on one of our songs. As I have already told, public and media is perfect on a miscellaneous react to our works. Someone like it, but someone not. It is simple a matter of taste as the opinion of each person subjectively and is based on its personal representation about it.

Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
Yes it to be pleasant to us play live shows as it is the best way to communicate with our listeners, besides, nothing can be compared to that energy which any musicians exchange with the fans on gigs. But we do not play live shows so often as it would be desirable. To become the reason for it as бычно work more often. But such problems test, unfortunately, practically all underground musicians.

What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
Labels/zines and promoters it is necessary to know at least that we in general exist, and are ready to bear a metal banner till the end! But if someone will be interested by something concrete they can request full промо a package or of me (wod-prods@mail.ru), or at Dead Center prod from Ukrain (dcpacz@gmail.com), which run our world management. And be shure if you have really serious intentions, to you it will not be refused!

What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
Our main plans for the future as I already spoke, it is record of a new album and it is final our russian tour in this autumn! It would not be desirable while to think further, but be assured, we still will pull about your nerves, hehe!

Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?
You can listen samples on our page myspace.com/tiranrussia. Concerning purchase you can to write on above-stated e-mails or check out distro cataloques from many labels around the world!
