Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
We have played and toured in bands around the Wisconsin area for years. For example some past bands members have served in would be: Jungle Rot (Kenosha), Cyanosis (Milwaukee), Micawber (Green Bay), Decrescent (IL/WI). Emblazoned started in 1998 as a side project of mine (Inexbicon) when I was playing in death metal bands. I played and wrote all the music and released a demo with the help of the now defunct Underground Media Group titled Nocturnal Arsonist. A few more years went by and I compiled more material and released the Ceremony of Hellfire EP with Funeral Verse Records. The CD got some attention and was asked to play a few fest with the help of an agent in the EU (SWR would have been dream come true) but was not able to get a line up that could meet the obligations required. This was deeply disappointing - a huge let down and I put the project on hiatus out of frustration. About 5 months ago I was approached by Pulverizer to start the project up again with him applying much disdain to the skins of his drum kit. It was a match forged in blood and since we rounded out the line up with Anssithia joining 4 months ago. This line up is fierce and hungry to get to work to help bring the torch back to Milwaukee where it once burned proud and bright. It has since become a dimly lit cesspool of trend worship retards that think Black Veil Brides are as heavy as it gets....
Current Line up:
Inexbicon - Guitars and backing vocals
Anssithia - Vocals and Bass
Pulverizer - Drums and backing vocals

How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
We are very much influenced by mid 90's black metal and death metal. Think of the way things use to be when Necropolis, Osmose, Full Moon, No Fashion, and Moonfog were bearing the torch.  We worship at the alter that those bands built and we are proud to say it.

Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
We are true to ourselves and others that share our passion for this style of music. We hope by others hearing the footnotes of our influences within the music it will bring honor to their memories and help celebrate what once was.  That was why this project was started in the first place. Music made by fans for fans that share a common interest and goal that the majority of the world (including the metal scene) may not understand.

What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
Nocturnal Arsonist, A Ceremony of Hellfire, our online 2013 self made demo and soon In Ex Cathedra will take form. The media didn't pick up on the past releases as much as I hoped but we did get some industry support. We hope to regain that trust and belief with the up coming material that will soon solidify into a new release.

Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
Emblazoned has never played live. Soon that will change we have been invited to perform in Chicago in May 2013 with other local torch bearers. This will be years of work finally materializing into a live manifestation - we are very excited and grateful for the opportunity. We are planning to make this a regular full time venture through out 2013.

What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
We play the music that we choose to honor it comes from our soul not our wallets.  I personally don't care if labels or the bigger media outlets do or don't pick up on it.  They are all dying out and on the verge of implosion as is due to their lack of vision and passion for the products that chose to invest in.  Every passing day self financed zines and promoters will still keeping the scene going by pushing bands that play for the right reasons.  We feel we share the same vision as they do but to each his own.  Once day you are in and the next you are out...the only thing that stays constant is the will and drive to continue and that no one will take away from us with or with out the media/labels/promoters.

What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
We are recording our next release tentatively titled In Ex Cathedra with Chris Wisco engineering and producing in April of 2013. Emblazoned's will debut live in Chicago May 2013 and we will march forward as much as we possibly can thereafter.

Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?
