Please tell us a few words about the new release, about the music on it as a whole or a few words on each track in part. How are you happy with the final release?
We started recording this album at the beginning of 2020 and the recording, mixing and mastering process took us all year then we were finally able to edit it in December 2020.
The album was conceived as a unique piece, and it is produced that way, which means that is an album made to listen it from beginning to end and we believe than the best experience that the album offers is that, sit down and give it a full listen. We are very satisfied with the result and we learned a lot of things with the production and recording.
How would you describe/label the music on it? Does it sounds like anything we might have heard before?
Regarding the sound, our influences could be bands like SLEEP, BELZEBONG, BONGZILLA, and bands of the style, but we believe that in terms of composition it varies a bit and makes the musical part very different.
Where was it recorded and how much time did it take you to record it? Any interesting stories from the recording/producing the material?
The recording process was something new for us, we recorded it in our rehearsal room, the drums, then the basses, guitars and vocals, and we took care of the production entirely ourselves. We got the microphones, some cabinets for the equipment that we didn't have, and the recording itself took us 2 months.
We knew the sound we wanted and generally in music, if you know what you want, everything is much easier.
Then we take care of the mix ourselves (locked in by the pandemic), so we had a lot of time to mix and edit and leave everything as we really wanted, in that sense we are very satisfied, then we take it to a studio to finalize part of the mix , some details and mastering.
What can you tell us about the cover artwork? Is there a link between the artwork and the lyrics? What are the topics of your lyrics?
We did the art too, we reused an engraving by Gustavo Doré for the book ¨El Paraiso Perdido¨. We found it interesting to put that engraving on the cover where Lucifer raises his voice to those who have lost everything and who intend to recover it.
What do you expect to gain through this release? What are the band's aims at the moment?
Our sincere intention through this album is that our music gets to be listened as many people as possible, with the current situation there are not many more possibilities, but once everything is getting normalized we will try to play live again which is where it seems to us that the music really connects with the audience.
Is there a special format the material is released in? Or is it released in multiple formats? How many copies were pressed?
The album was released in Cassette format through RuidoTeka Records (ARG) (30 copies) and in CD format (100 copies) through The Swamp Records (USA) and in Bandcamp and all Digital platforms
