Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
We are Peripheral Choas. We have five members. Greg Rhodes Vox, Randy Botkin, Guitar Brett Looney ,Guitar Joey Belcher Bass, Kyle Riddle Drums.
This all started about 3 years ago with Greg and Randy. Randy was on guitar and Greg was on drums. After writing many songs they sought out to get a full band going. Kyle came over to Gregs and sat on the drum kit and played a few songs. he's been here ever since. after Kyle joined we practiced for about 4 solid months you know banging out songs recording demos. One day we get a call and its Brett he said guys I want to play guitar again. He was in another band with Kyle a year earlier. and in a band with Greg and Randy 2 Years earlier. we said sure come over and play. Just like Kyle He never left. The final piece of the puzzle is Joey. We Needed a Bass player bad and we had already tried out like 6 people none could hang. we called joey and he came over to sit in on a practice and the next thing you know, he was in the band. Our first show was June 6th 2009 at The Battle Of The Bands in Weston WV. after about 5 solid months of shows we were approached by Death Star Records. They said we love your stuff you guys wanna hop abord? we said yes and here we are. we are here to melt your faces off. enjoy the metal.

How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
We are a Groovy Thrash Metal Band. Our influences are Pantera, Lamb of God, Meshuggah, Devildriver, Unearth, The Black Dahlia Murder. We all have many influences, but mostly we are our own influences.

Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
Its very simple. We dont cut cookies we melt faces. We are saying we play the hardest metal we can think of we take no shortcuts we just want to rip it up.

What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
We have released 4 CDs. EP Apophisy, 2 live cds at the Sound Factory in Charleston West Virginia and one at The Blue Parrot in Charleston WV. WE put 2 songs on our local radio station but it was recently shut down. We are still selling all cds and demos.

Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
Yes our fans are the crazy ones that mosh to every song . We usually have a crowed that chants our name and sings our songs louder than we do. We are very happy with our fanbase. Our live shows are usually brutal. There is always someone bleeding at the end of the night.

What sould labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
Well we are very proud to play our music we are here to show people that West Virginia is a metal state and we want to prove that by taking over the scene. We put on a great show and people keep coming back. Each show keeps getting bigger and bigger. To break it down we can play with any band any time and get you moving. We have high energy and we give it to the crowd to use.

What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
We are going to play as many shows as we can. 2010 is going to be a busy year we have an album coming out and we are booking our first tour and we hope to break the barrier down and show the world the next true metal band.
