Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
The band has been created in 2010 by one of participants of other bands in Severodonetsk. They played music of the most various directions: from country music to brutal death metal. The way to a present Karma Rage was very long and difficult, but we stood, were approved and gained self-confidence. Now we are ready to take new steps.
How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
The basis of our musical style is thrash metal. A variety of musical experience left some mark on stylistics of the music that we compose. We try not to exhaust ourselves in the certain framework and bring in our music various musical elements. Such bands as Kreator, Death, Exodus, Xentrix, Watchtower, Megadeath, Pantera, Metallica and can be listed more many have some impact on us, but we don’t copy them.
Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
Having bought and having heard to our album the admires will receive and ingot of the pure metal melted in the industrial center of Ukraine- Donbass! Seriously, we will try to do qualitative music and we believe, that the admires of a heavy rock music will like it. To buy or not to buy? People should solve it by themselves.
What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
Meanwhile we recorded a debut album which coming out soon. It’s our first experience in the professional edition of our musical material. We hope that our work deserves a good mark from listeners.
Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
We try to use each opportunity to appear on stage. As practice shows, admires of metal accept us rather good in the various towns, and we in our turn give all the best in all power. It’s damn good to feel energy of people near the stage and to give them ours energy.
What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
Karma Rage has its own original face. We don’t try to copy blindly known bands, instead we try to show our vision of thrash metal. Now it’s almost impossible to hear something unusual in this heavy music style, especially in Ukraine. We do our best to correct this annoying misunderstanding.
hat plans do you have for the near future as a band?
We want to give as much as possible concerts in support of our debut album, also we have plans to take a part in the large Ukrainian festival of heavy music called Metal Heads Mission 2013. We already work over a new material for the following album and it won’t keep waiting for itself.
