Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
Tantivy was formed in february 2020 by guitaris Adam Geurink and drummer Jon zimick.

How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
heavy metal/rock n roll. Dio, Thin Lizzy, Motorhead, Agent Orange, Inepsy, Toxic holocaust, 3 inches of blood, high on fire, 

Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
we play bare bones heavy metal with over the top lyrics, what more could ya want?

What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
We've released 1 track off our debut ep and so far it has been received pretty well. our friends seem to love it and we've gotten a couple cool reviews on it

Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
well seeing as we formed right when the pandemic started, no. but as soon as things are safe again we will be out there playing shows for sure and we plan on touring extensively. 

What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
Tantivy is a very high energy band and we dance as hard as we play and strive to put on a great show. We are not hell bent on one style of heavy metal. Adam has a decades worth of d.i.y touring experience in bands such as, Wardehns, Wartorn, We The Heathens, Atrocity solution. and we plan on using the knowledge and experience acquired to help Tantivy travel and grow. if anyone wants to throw us a bone and help get our name out there it would be greatly appreciated

What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
We are currently writing more material and hope to have another release for you in 2021.
