Please tell us a few words about the new release, about the music on it as a whole or a few words on each track in part. How are you happy with the final release?
Yes I'm very pleased with my new album (Greystone). There's not really an overall theme though.. Perhaps overall, the songs are a little defeatist and pessimistic.

How would you describe/label the music on it? Does it sound like anything we might have heard before?
I just class it as modern melodic death metal, and it's not too different from my previous albums - maybe just a bit more polished. I guess overall sound I'm trying to achieve is along the lines of the main melodic metal bands like Scar Symmetry, Dark Tranquillity, In Flames etc

Where was it recorded and how much time did it take you to record it? Any interesting stories from the recording/producing the material?
I started the album in March last year - and recorded it all in my bedroom studio and I'd finished everything by January. There wasn't anything remarkable about the recording process though. Some elements get frustrating though, eg. trying to get a snare sound I'm really happy with and I'll spend more time than I should tweaking it - meanwhile I know I'm probably just overthinking it.

What can you tell us about the cover artwork? Is there a link between the artwork and the lyrics? What are the topics of your lyrics?
The artwork being fairly abstract, with nothing too distinct, is just meant to give an overall feeling or atmosphere of the music.

What do you expect to gain through this release? What are the band's aims at the moment?
Just hopefully to get a bigger audience but my main aim always is to try and present as closely as possible the ideas I have in my head.

Is there a special format the material is released in? Or is it released in multiple formats? How many copies were pressed?
No - it will only be a digital release.

Where and how will you promote this new release?
I'm very fortunate to have the help of Dewar PR promoting the album. Also the distributors MMD Black promote the bands they work with on Facebook etc, so that will help as well.

Where can we order it from?
It will be available from the main music sites like iTunes, Amazon Bandcamp etc and the release date is towards the end of May.
