Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
We started out in the fall of 2010. Our intention was to be a no bass player band that was loud AF. Obviously the original concept didn’t work out. Dave Natkin , Chris Warmuth and a drummer named Willy were the original members.
After we matured and turned into a four piece we currently are Jeff Ramon on the drums, Jarrod LeBlanc on vocals/bass, Nikos Mixas on guitar and last but not least Tony Gallegos playing guitar as well.
How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
The best was to describe our style is 3 middle aged dudes and one close to being middle aged, walking into a bar with our favorite albums and playing them all at once over the bar’s PA system.
Our influences are very broad. Anything from Kyuss and Kreator to Taake and Thin Lizzy to Rudimentary Peni and some other band that starts with “ R”.
Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
We feel a metalhead should buy our album because they are not metal. They are low end heaviness with a pinch of yacht rock.
What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
We have released two full length albums. Mass Driver and Devil Down. We've also released an EP entitled Sin Nombre.
If you look real hard you’ll also find a cassette split we did with Into the Storm, which features two songs in demo form off our new album- Blood Feud.
Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
Yes we play live. We did a few tours covering the Midwest and southwest. Unfortunately our work/home life doesn’t allow us to tour endlessly like a lot of bands. We plan on making a presence locally when it’s time for our Blood Feud release show in November.
What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
Twingiant doesn’t try to sound like any other band and we sure as hell don’t want to label ourselves. We’re just four dudes that use music as an outlet. What ever it sounds like when we’re done is a mystery.
What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
Making more music and hopefully doing a world tour. Once space travel is possible we wouldn’t mind a few intergalactic gigs.
Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?
You can hear all our stuff on our band camp site- twingiant.bandcamp.com or twingiant.com. We also have a Facebook page.
Our latest full-length album, "Blood Feud" is available on October 13 wia Argonauta Records and you can pre-order it today if you’d like.
