Young quartet from the capital of Sweden, Encryptment deliver us a mix between Punk, Crust, Black, Death and Grindcore on this new demo of theirs, a three tracks effort clocking a bit over 8 minutes only. Energetic, analog sounding, brutal at times, even adding a hint of melody of the guitar harmonies, Encryptment impress through how loosen and at the same time curdled they sound as a band even though the new demo presents us the band's new drummer, only there since 2018 but he seems to have adapted without problems. The compositions tend to get repetitive at times, but the good type of repetitive, evolving, mesmerizing, bewitching the listener (it happened to me already 3-4 times while listening to the third and final track on this demo, Knivar och öppna sår. Excellent band, we need more than an EP and a demo from them, a full-length is absolutely mandatory at this point.
