Review:
This one was a full line-up band from 1995 to 2002 but under a different name and a different style, so basically Arcane Tales is a totally different entity, I guess it shouldn't be linked with Black Ravens anymore, especially since they quite haven't released anything of importance. Since 2008, when Luigi Soranno decided to start working on his music again, Arcane Tales was born as a one man project deeply influenced by Rhapsody and their Symphony of Enchanted Lands masterpiece album and since then released three full-length albums, Legacy of the Gods being the third. The cool thing well worth mentioning is that Luigi also started developing a fantasy Saga together with his music that resulted in the release of 2 books (chapters of the saga), with a third currently in works, so the albums and the books, are linked together and based on each other if I understood correctly. That's not something you get to meet everyday.
Now talking about this third studio album, it's a 9 tracks effort clocking around 45 minutes of playing time, a Symphonic Power Metal type of music still on the Rhapsody kind of territory characterized by heavy use of fantasy epic keyboards, technical and melodic guitar leads and solos complementing a Heavy Power Metal array of guitar riffs, energetic rhythm section and versatile vocals supported by choirs and backing vocals all the time, but all this made by one person only. To be honest I find this to be a World-class material, but unfortunately the production doesn't rise up to its par, the drums are mixed so upfront that at times the snare drums sound take away all the attention from the music itself and become heavily annoying. Apart from that the guitar work is top-notch, Luigi's vocal timbre is amazing and the keyboards are fantastic, expressive and well thought in order to introduce the listener to an enchanted land. 
The albums comes in a jewel-case CD format with a 12 pages booklet featuring all lyrics and a nice band bio that unfortunately doesn't offer any info on this album itself, only on previous works.
If you're into bands like Rhapsody, Blind Guardian, Sonata Arctica or Hammerfall give this one a try.
