Please tell us a few words about the new release, about the music on it as a whole or a few words on each track in part. How are you happy with the final release?
Well, this is our first release. It consists of 8 tracks, and I think I speak for us all when I say, that we are really happy with the final result. The music is brutal and technical with plenty of odd time signatures and time shifts, yet melodic due to all the guitar shredding. The listener should be prepared, there is a ton of stuff going on at the same time in each track. At times there are 2 lead guitars on top of vocals, bass, drums and rhythm guitar. The lyrical theme is mostly inspired by H.P. Lovecraft, and thus the ongoing theme is horror and sci-fi. I personally find the lyrics for the opening song, "Vomiting a hole in the soul" quite amusing. This was also the first track I was presented for in the writing process, and I was just blown away. When I heard the lead guitar to that track, I just knew that it was going to be a killer project.

How would you describe/label the music on it? Does it sounds like anything we might have heard before?
It might comes of as a cliché, but I think we managed to create something quite unique. This is due to the fact, that the music is brutal and technical yet easily distinguishable due to the lead guitar parts. I sometimes feel like very brutal, guttural songs seem to sound the same, but I think we surpassed that. But if I should mention something, I hope that people can hear that we all have been listening to Death, Necrophagist and Obscura. The lead guitar is inspired by some of the great shredders of the 80's, including Jason Becker, Marty Friedman, Yngwie Malmsteen and the likes which is also something I think people will notice. So the label I'd put on our music would be technical death metal.

Where was it recorded and how much time did it take you to record it? Any interesting stories from the recording/producing the material?
We recorded everything in our guitar player Thor´s apartment. We didn't have a deadline, so we took our time recording it. I believe it ended up being about 6 months of on and off recording. I was recording while writing, which meant that I pretty much recorded a song when I'd written the
bass lines, then I'd go home and finish the bass lines for the next few songs, and then going back to recording and so forth. An interesting story was that when everything was recorded, we were ready to go get everything mixed and mastered, but then Thor decided, that
he wasn't satisfied with the rhythm guitar parts. So, he deleted pretty much all the rhythm guitar tracks and re-record the parts. I remember this was stressing me out a bit, but fortunately he was very quick to re-record everything.

What can you tell us about the cover artwork? Is there a link between the artwork and the lyrics? What are the topics of your lyrics?
The artwork was done by an artist that goes by the name Gragoth. There is no direct link between the lyrics and the artwork, but we went for a horror vibe in the artwork to reflect the mood of the music and lyrics. I think all the artwork and the graphic design of the album turned out amazing! The topics of the lyrics are a mix of horror and science fiction themes. As our band name and album title suggests, we are inspired a great deal by the works of H.P. Lovecraft and several of our songs are based on some of his novels.

What do you expect to gain through this release? What are the band's aims at the moment?
Well, we consider ourselves a studio project at the moment, which means, that we don't have any touring or gigs planned. This is our first release, and we hope, that people will like it and buy the record - both supporting us, but definitely also our label, Crime Records who has
been great. Thus, our aims at the moment is to sell some records, and also we are already in the writing process for our next album.

Is there a special format the material is released in? Or is it released in multiple formats? How many copies were pressed?
The format is primarily CD, but it will also be available as digital download. I believe that there were pressed around 500 copies. If we sell a lot of CD's, more will be pressed.

Where and how will you promote this new release?
We have, and will be doing a lot of interviews for different websites and even physical magazines. There has also been quite a few reviews of the record on the internet. This has actually already gained us quite a few new followers.

Where can we order it from?
You can order the physical cd from Crime Records online shop www.crimerecordsshop.no and the digital download from amazon.com.
