Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
Under Destruction is an Austrian metal band that exists now, after several line-up changes since 2011 in this formation. Pounding grooves and hard riffs were from the beginning the trademark of our band. We shared stages with Madball, Hopeless,50 Lions, Hatesphere, Kontrust and many more.
How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
Our music is Melodic Death Metal, we are influenced by very many bands, especially Swedish metal bands like At The Gates, Amon Amarth but also bands like Machine Head or Heaven Shall Burn.
Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
Because we think that we make good music, and you can never have enough of good music ;-)
What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
We released our debut album "Origin” in 2012, a 2-track promo CD in 2011 and our first release, the "Devastated” EP in 2010. There are also two music videos for the new songs "Declaration” and "Origin Of The Blight” on YouTube.
We got a lot of good reviews for "Origin”, it’s available at our shows and you can also order it via e-Mail (booking@underdestruction.at). We ship worldwide.
Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?We are currently looking for shows in Austria, so anyone who organizes shows, please contact us.
What sould labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
We’ve been making metal for some years now and we know how to make music which kicks ass. Labels / zines and promoters will get a free promo pack if they are interested.
