Please tell us a few words about the new release, about the music on it as a whole or a few words on each track in part. How are you happy with the final release?
NIF basically is my solo project or one-man band project. I'm really happy because this is my first / debut album as musician since 2013. And this album is proof of my hardwork. About the track, "Above The Sky I & II", "Infinite Journey", "Hypervelocity Stars", and "Winter Wyvern" are prog metal with many style on it. "Late Night Sky" is prog rock with soft jazzy guitar solo. "Vast Universe" and "Northern Lights" are post-rock. "Blackened Moon" is depressive one. Almost all track contains ambient / atmospheric element. Track "Winter Wyvern" is featuring Yutsi of DUNIA, who fill the last guitar solo on that song. 

How would you describe/label the music on it? Does it sounds like anything we might have heard before?
I call it instrumental progressive metal / ambient, i love prog and ambient & post rock so i mix em. And i add little djent element on it. Some people call it prog / post-metal. This album influenced by Widek, Dream theater, haunted shores, meshuggah, pink floyd, an abstract illussion, plini.

Where was it recorded and how much time did it take you to record it? Any interesting stories from the recording/producing the material?
This album was recorded on my bedroom from february - december 2017. And writting process started in late 2015, it took a long time because at the time i busy to prepare my final exam in high school. Interesting part of this album production is i did all process alone,  even i mix and master this album by myself. All instrument recorded by me except the drum, the drum is programmed. I only use amp and cabinet simulator on my computer to record guitar and bass.

What can you tell us about the cover artwork? Is there a link between the artwork and the lyrics? What are the topics of your lyrics?
The cover is based on album title "above the sky", and there is a lot of ambient and atmospheric element on the music, so that's it. This album is instrumental, no lyric

What do you expect to gain through this release? What are the band's aims at the moment?
There is no specific aim or target, because this project is made based on my passion on progressive metal genre

Is there a special format the material is released in? Or is it released in multiple formats? How many copies were pressed?
At the moment, it's digital only. But i plan to release it on CD format in near future

I promote this album through internet only, on forum and send it to my friend
