Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
VRSA is a project that came out of a creative space that we like to call Last Bastion Studios.
Its our own studio where we do all of our demoing and tracking for our albums.
Over the years VRSA has become a collective effort with some of the most interesting musicians from around the area putting their finger prints on the DNA of the band.

How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
We have an eclectic range of tastes that for better or worse comes through in the music we make. you'll have to be the judge.

Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
If someone is interested in creative stimulating art then they should always be looking for that next thing that gets them going. Hopefully we might be that for that someone.
Any metal music fan looking for something outside of the standard song composition styles or topics should check us out.  We dont follow traditional metal metrics.  But we are still heavy and intense and bring an atmospheric element as well.

What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
Cvlt of Machina  is VRSA's 4th release as a band.
We don't fall neatly into any particular sub genre so we sometimes get some confused reactions but mostly the feedback has been positive.

Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
We have a short east coast run coming up in June with our friends in Witchkiss from Beacon NY. Making a stop in Maryland for the "Maryland Doom Fest" on June 23nd at Guidos Speakeasy.
We also are playing the "RPM Fest" on the 25th of August in Massachusetts, among a myriad of other shows here and there.

What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
They should know that we dont plan on going away for quite some time.
Longevity and vision is our motto!
VRSA is a unique band and we absolutely bring it at every live show and we poured ourselves into this ep, recording it ourselves to get exactly the feel we were looking for.

What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
We plan to put a couple concept EP's out, telling a story that spans the two albums.
After our shows we have planned for this year we will start the demoing process and get to the recording over the winter most likely.

Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?
