Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
Buried Realm is a one man project by me, Josh Dummer. I started the project back around 2007 where I recorded a few demos. I've been busy with my other projects (Circaic/ Frozen Eternity) up until a few years ago. I then decided to start writing and recording the album, 'The Ichor Carcinoma'.

How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
Technical and melodic death metal best sums it up. There are a lot of influences from 80s hair metal, black and folk metal, even some industrial.

Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
A lot of time and effort went in to this album. Plus, with so many household metal names on this album, I'm sure most "metalheads" will find a musician on it that they follow... so check it out!

What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
I've released three singles. All of them have been received great. I am very pleased with the response so far.

Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
Not with Buried Realm. It's only a studio project at the moment.

What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
Just like every hard-working musician out there, I've put years of hard work, love, dedication and passion into my music. When you invest so much of yourself into an album like this, you want everyone to give it a spin!

What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
I will continue to promote the album with more playthroughs, lessons, lyric videos, etc. and then jump on the next release when time allows.
