Please tell us about the history of your bands and its members.
Suicide Forest is a one man depressive black metal project that officially started in 2016. Live performances began soon after the release of the first demo. Performers have included members of Chronovorus and North.

How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
The style is depressive black metal with elements of 20th century Classical and Minimalism. Influences include Philip Glass, Shining, Thy Light, Arvo Prt, Totalselfhatred, and Steve Reich.

Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
The same reason someone might buy drugs or whiskey, to indulge in their own escape from the futility of human existence. And of course to support underground labels and artists. But they can also just download it for free.

What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
The third demo is available for pre order now. Once after a live performance someone said Suicide Forest made them want to listen to black metal again.

Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
Suicide Forest has live members who have and will perform for the right occasion.

What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
The listener can garner what they wish from the recordings and live performances. Someone should be interested if they want to want to listen to depressive black metal. As far as "the metal media" is concerned, Suicide Forest has more to offer than just another black metal band due to the classical and minimalist elements throughout.

The third demo Apathy is available for preorder and will be released 7/7/17 to coincide with the cassette release containing the first two demos Emptiness, and Indifference on one cassette from Flkvangr Records. Future plans include more live performances, longer releases, and splits.
